• You must be at least 18 years old to adopt
• Three non-family references must be supplied and will be contacted.  We cannot accept any relatives, including in-laws, as references.
• Ensure you have checked with your landlord or homeowners association about their pet rules or bylaws.
• Your current dogs & cats must be:
  • Up to date on vaccinations, including rabies.  A letter from your Veterinarian must be supplied for medical exceptions.
  • Spayed or Neutered.  A letter from your Veterinarian must be supplied for medical exceptions.
• Everyone who lives in the household must be present at the time of adoption.

To continue with the adoption process, we encourage interested adopters to fill out the adoption application.  

Upon receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will review and contact you with any questions.  Typically, applications can be processed within a few business days.

If you are looking to adopt a dog and already have a dog...

Upon completion & approval of your application, we will require a "meet & greet" between your current dog and your (hopefully) new addition, to ensure everyone gets along.  This will be scheduled with you and be conducted at our adoption center.
